Electric Tip DresserATD-E-023 Our Model ATD-E-023 weld electrode Tip Dresser is an electrically operated unit, designed to simultaneously dress both the upper and lower electrodes on the weld gun to ensure alignment of the caps after dressing. The in-line drive and motor configuration maximizes clearance for lower electrode holders. Due to weight, the 023 is a stationary mounted unit for robot weld guns. Electric Tip Dresser units provide the flexibility to use tip dressers where compressed air is not available or desirable. We recommend a motor starter package with current overload protection for all our electric unit applications. Please contact our staff for application and installation recommendations. The 023 does not come standard with vertical compliance but has a variety of options to provide the appropriate compliance and mounting for the application. This unit is available with a variety of cutter to suit any electrode tip configuration and many options to simplify the mounting and operation of the unit.
